MrBeast, the American YouTuber globally renowned for his astonishing videos and extraordinary philanthropy, marked a new milestone in humanitarian service on August 14.
According to Indian media, MrBeast, along with popular streamers Adin Ross and xQc, hosted a marathon livestream on the “Kick” platform that lasted for more than 15 hours.
During the broadcast, an impressive $120 million was raised for Ten Water, a global charitable project aimed at providing clean water. The achievement not only promises to transform the lives of countless people in need but also set a new Guinness World Record, surpassing the previous $120 million fundraising mark set by Z Event in 2021.
Expressing his joy over this historic achievement, MrBeast said: “This stream is going to change countless lives.”
International media reported that major donors included B-Love Electrolyte, Fin Bags, Kick co-founder Ed Craven, Bijan Taherani, social media influencer Sophie Rain, and streamer Trainwreckstv, each contributing at least $1 million.
Other prominent figures such as Dana White, Michael Rubin, Brian Chesky, Gary Vee, and Casey Wasserman also extended generous support.
The livestream was packed with exciting and unusual activities such as lie detector tests, snake challenges, haircut sessions, and even boat races in oil — all of which kept millions of viewers hooked, fueling record-breaking donations.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is currently the world’s most-followed YouTuber. His channel now boasts over 422 million subscribers, with many of his videos crossing hundreds of millions of views — some exceeding 500 million.
Beyond YouTube, Donaldson has expanded his influence through his fast-food chain and various business ventures. In June 2025, he became the first individual creator to cross 400 million subscribers on YouTube and also the first person to gain one million followers on Threads.
