A major development has emerged in the investigation against popular YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, revealing that he served as the country head of a gambling application.
Ducky Bhai was taken into custody by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) early Sunday at the Lahore airport. He was later presented before a judicial magistrate.
According to NCCIA officials, Ducky Bhai served as the “country manager” of an illegal gambling app, promoting multiple betting platforms including Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game via his YouTube channel.
He allegedly received millions of rupees from the gambling app during promotional campaigns. He was found involved in the promotion of 12 different gambling applications.
The FIA had summoned Ducky Bhai several times to join the investigation, but after repeated non-compliance, his name was placed on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL). He was eventually arrested at the airport while attempting to flee abroad.
It is worth mentioning that the case against Dukcy Bhai was filed by the state through NCCIA Lahore at midnight on August 17 under sections 13 (Electronic Forgery), 14 (Electronic Fraud), 25 (Spamming), and 26 (Spoofing) of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, in addition to sections 294-B (Offering prizes in connection with trade) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
