ISLAMABAD: The second phase of opening educational institutions in Pakistan will start from tomorrow.
Talking to media after the meeting at National Command and Operations Center, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said that classes for sixth to eighth classes would start from tomorrow.
He said that sixth to eighth class classes would be started in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said that the Sindh government has not yet decided to open a school, they have asked for one more week to open an educational institution, middle classes will not be held in Rawlakot district of Azad Kashmir.

Shafqat Mahmood said that the health situation has been closely monitored for the last week and the decision will be taken to reopen the primary schools in seven days.
He said that it was decided to open educational institutions in phases. Educational institutions across the country have been opened under the decision of NCOC.
He said that the rate of coronavirus in Pakistan is very low compared to other countries and strict monitoring has been carried out on SOPs of educational institutions.
