At least four people, including a woman and a child, were killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the Super Highway near DHA City in Karachi, authorities said on Tuesday.
The accident also left four others injured, including three women, who were rushed to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
Rescue officials reported that several vehicles collided at the scene, creating a chaotic situation on the highway. Initial investigations by the Motorway Police suggest that slippery road conditions may have contributed to the crash.
This tragic incident follows a series of deadly road accidents in Sindh over the past few days. On Monday, six people were killed in a car-trailer collision on the National Highway in Naushahro Feroze district, while on Sunday, 11 people died and eight were injured in a bus-trailer accident near Tando Masti in Khairpur district.
Just a day earlier, 13 people lost their lives in a collision involving an oil tanker and a passenger bus on the M9 Motorway near Karachi.
