Following severe financial hardship and unemployment, a well-educated graduate from Institute of Business Administration Karachi, Azhar Memon, has been offered a job at PTV.
Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar took notice of Azhar Memon’s video that went viral on social media and invited him to Islamabad. There, he was encouraged and offered a Grade 16 position at the Pakistan Television Corporation Karachi Centre.
Despite these assurances, Azhar Memon stated in a recent interview that he has not yet received a formal offer letter.
He expressed hope that the government will soon fulfil its promise by issuing a written appointment letter, enabling him to officially begin his duties.
The matter has gained traction on social media, sparking wider public discussion around youth unemployment and the availability of merit-based job opportunities in Pakistan.
