Samsung has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A57 5G, bringing a blend of premium design, enhanced performance, and advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features to a wider audience.
The new device features a sleek and slim profile at around 6.9mm thickness, paired with a durable build that includes IP68 water and dust resistance and Gorilla Glass protection. It sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and improved outdoor visibility.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 5G is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and storage options reaching 256GB or more.

The device is designed to handle everyday multitasking efficiently, although it remains positioned as a mid-range performer rather than a gaming powerhouse.
In the camera department, the smartphone comes equipped with a triple rear setup, including a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera.
On the front, a 12MP camera supports HDR video for improved selfies and video calls. Enhanced Nightography and AI-based editing tools such as Object Eraser and Best Face further boost the photography experience.
Samsung has also integrated a range of AI-powered features through its One UI 8.5 software, including voice transcription, smart photo editing, and the “Circle to Search” tool. The company promises up to six years of software and security updates, reinforcing the phone’s long-term value.

The Galaxy A57 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, delivering reliable all-day usage. However, wireless charging remains absent, one of the few omissions in an otherwise feature-rich package.
Priced around Rs 150,000, the Galaxy A57 5G represents a slight increase over its predecessor, reflecting modest hardware upgrades and added AI capabilities.
