Senior politician and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sherry Rehman’s only daughter, Marvi Khurshid Malik, has passed away at the age of 39.
Her death has sparked deep sorrow and grief across political, social, and journalistic circles.
According to family, Senator Sherry Rehman had shifted Marvi Malik to a private hospital in Karachi in critical condition due to a brain embolism. She was on a ventilator but could not survive.

President Asif Ali Zardari expressed profound sorrow and grief over Marvi Malik’s passing and offered prayers for the deceased.

Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, also expressed deep grief over the death of Sherry Rehman’s daughter, writing on X that it is an unimaginable loss, and his prayers are with Sherry Rehman and her entire family during this extremely difficult time.
Journalists and other party leaders have also expressed their condolences over the passing of Sherry Rehman’s daughter.
The funeral prayer of the deceased will reportedly be offered on Monday, March 23, 2026, in Karachi.
