Netflix has officially announced that the fourth season of its popular romantic drama Mismatched will be the last installment of the series, bringing the journey of Dimple and Rishi to a close in 2026.
Although an exact premiere date has not yet been revealed, the streaming platform confirmed the concluding season is scheduled for release next year, with early reports hinting at a possible mid-year debut.
The final season will continue from the emotional cliffhanger of Season 3, where Dimple called off her engagement.
The upcoming chapter will focus on adulthood, personal growth, and the lingering question at the heart of the story: whether the pair were truly incompatible or simply separated by timing.
Netflix also unveiled a nostalgic first-look teaser showing Prajakta Koli (Dimple) and Rohit Saraf (Rishi) reuniting at Mumbai’s Marine Drive, the same location where they parted ways, for what the platform described as “one last cold coffee.”
Several fan-favorite characters will return for the finale, including Rannvijay Singha, Vidya Malvade, Ahsaas Channa, Taaruk Raina, and Muskkaan Jaferi.
With its fourth season, Mismatched becomes the first Indian Netflix Original series to run for four seasons, marking a significant milestone for the platform’s Indian content slate.
