Plot
Based on Vish Dhamija’s novel Bhendi Bazaar, Daldal follows Rita Ferreira, a young DCP of the Mumbai Crime Branch, who lands her first major case shortly after taking office. But this seemingly ordinary dog-feeder is found murdered, wrists slit and mouth stuffed with raw meat. Similar ritualistic killings of respectable men follow, and Ferreira must race against time to catch a cold-blooded serial killer.
It goes without saying that the series takes an unusual narrative approach by revealing the killer early on, keeping viewers in suspense through the cat-and-mouse investigation rather than a traditional whodunit.
