Precious metal prices in the domestic market have reached unprecedented levels following a massive rally in global bullion rates.
According to the latest report from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), gold prices saw a staggering single-day increase, driven by the international market reaching near-record heights.

This domestic spike follows a $65 increase in the international gold rate, which now stands at $4,988 per ounce. International silver also saw a rise, reaching $103.26 per ounce.
Silver has also followed the upward trend, hitting a historic peak.
Silver (24-Karat): Rs 10,801 per tola (increased by Rs 526).
Silver (10 Grams): Rs 9,260 (increased by Rs 451).
Global Market Impact
The domestic surge is a direct reflection of the international market, where gold surged by $65 to reach $4,988 per ounce. International silver also jumped by $5.26, settling at $103.26 per ounce.
The APSGJA notes that these rates are based on the current interbank exchange rates, as the local market continues to respond to global volatility.
