A dispute over the dismissal of a woman from her job escalated into a brutal assault on a hotel manager in Lahore, police said.
According to Gulberg police, two nominated suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident. The hotel manager, identified as Irshad, had reportedly dismissed the woman from her job on allegations of theft.
Police said the woman’s fiancé, enraged by her removal from employment, along with his accomplices, attacked the manager. The suspects allegedly assaulted the victim near a private hospital in the Gulberg area.
During the attack, the assailants also robbed the victim of cash and bank cards and recorded a video of the assault. Footage of the incident shows multiple suspects jointly beating the hotel manager.
Police confirmed that the main suspects, Shahzaib and Ali Raza, have been arrested, while raids are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
