An inflammatory video shared by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (UK) account, depicting a bomb attack on the vehicle of the Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has prompted Pakistan to express deep concern and demand action from the British government.
According to details, a highly provocative video was released on December 23 from the official X (formerly Twitter) account of PTI UK.
In the video, protesters openly threatened to assassinate Field Marshal Asim Munir. A woman was seen engaging in inflammatory speech, threatening to blow up his car with a bomb.

The woman stated that anyone could kill the field marshal in a car bomb blast. PTI social media trolls further propagated this threatening video, which was then shared by the official account. Such threatening discourse in the UK is an open violation of international laws.
Furthermore, the UK’s Terrorism Act 2006 classifies the encouragement of terrorism as a serious offense. Expressing deep concern over the misuse of British soil for inflammatory speeches, Pakistan has demanded the identification of those involved and legal action against them.
Letter to the UK Government
In a letter addressed to the British government, the Government of Pakistan demanded action against those attempting to incite terrorism, violence, and instability in Pakistan from British soil. The letter to the Home Office stated that social media accounts linked to PTI are spreading videos calling for the assassination of the Army Chief.
BREAKING 🚨
Pakistan govt has written to @ukhomeoffice @ShabanaMahmood expressing a grave concern regarding a serious and unprecedented misuse of British territory for activities that amount to incitement to terrorism, violence, and internal destabilization of a sovereign state.… https://t.co/UsxOVlmTin— Murtaza Ali Shah (@MurtazaViews) December 25, 2025
Pakistan maintained in the letter that such content is not merely rhetoric or politics but an incitement to assassinate a high-ranking military figure of a UN member state. Platforms associated with PTI are consistently issuing calls for violence. The letter urged the UK to identify, investigate, and prosecute those inciting murder and violence, calling for decisive action, including potential bans.
According to the letter, the UK has been urged to ensure that British territory is not used to fuel unrest and terrorism against Pakistan. It warned that British silence would not be viewed as neutrality and would have serious implications for mutual trust and cooperation. While Pakistan highly values its relationship with the UK, it expects this matter to be handled immediately through legal channels.
