The Metro Bus Service in Rawalpindi will face temporary suspensions during the movement of teams participating in the upcoming Pakistan–Sri Lanka–Zimbabwe T20 Tri-Nation Series.
The series, scheduled from November 17 to 29 in Rawalpindi and Lahore, is expected to attract large crowds as cricket fans look forward to seeing the three teams in action ahead of the international T20 season.
According to Metro Bus authorities, the service will be halted at select stations to ensure security and smooth transportation during the event, following directions from the district administration.
During match hours, the Rehmanabad, Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, and Faizabad stations will remain closed, while the Metro Bus will continue normal operations at all other stops.
Officials added that these temporary closures are part of broader security and traffic management measures to facilitate team movements and accommodate the expected influx of spectators around the cricket venues.
