Social media star and TV host Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan’s husband, Haris Khokhar, has revealed that the couple had been in a relationship for six years before deciding to get married a few months ago.
Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan and Haris Khokhar tied the knot on November 7, with Maulana Tariq Jameel officiating their nikah. Videos and photos from their wedding quickly went viral on social media.
Speaking to the media on her wedding day, Dr. Nabiha shared that she wore jewelry worth Rs15 million and a bridal dress costing Rs10 million.
Later, her husband Haris Khokhar told the media that it was Dr. Nabiha who first expressed her love for him.
He explained that they had founded an organization together aimed at promoting and supporting young journalists, working side by side for six years.
According to Haris Khokhar, their connection remained strictly professional until five months ago, when Dr. Nabiha proposed marriage to him.
He added that they never had any disputes or conflicts during their six-year association, and since their mindsets and outlooks align, he is confident that their marriage will be a successful one.
Previously, Dr. Nabiha had shared that she was first married at a young age to a man 15 years her senior, who later passed away — after which she never thought about remarrying until now.
