Pakistan defeated South Africa in the third and final ODI to take the series 2-1 in Faisalabad on Saturday.
Saim Ayub played an important innings of 73 runs to take the hosts over the line easily.
Earlier, South Africa was bowled out for just 143 runs in 37.5 overs, setting Pakistan a modest 144-run target for victory.
Winning the toss, South Africa opted to bat first. Openers Quinton de Kock and Lehan de Pretorius provided a solid start with a 72-run partnership, before Pretorius was dismissed for 39 runs.
De Kock once again played a responsible innings, completing his half-century before being dismissed by Mohammad Nawaz for 53 runs. After his departure, Abrar Ahmed dismantled the South African batting lineup with his sharp spin, narrowly missing out on a hat-trick.
Tony de Zorzi (2), Rubin Hermann (1), Donovan Ferreira (7), Corbin Bosch (0), and Yann Fortuin (3) all fell cheaply as South Africa collapsed.
For Pakistan, Abrar Ahmed took 4 wickets, while Mohammad Nawaz, Salman Ali Agha, and Shaheen Afridi picked up 2 wickets each.
Pakistan made two changes to their lineup, bringing back Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed, while Naseem Shah and Wasim Jr. were left out.
