President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Qatar on a three-day official visit, where senior Qatari officials and the Ambassador of Pakistan warmly received him, as reported by national media on Tuesday.
According to details, upon President Asif Ali Zardari’s arrival at King Hamad International Airport, senior Qatari officials and the Pakistani ambassador welcomed him and presented a bouquet.
The Foreign Office stated that President Asif Ali Zardari will participate in the Global Social Development Conference being held in Qatar. In his address, he will highlight Pakistan’s social, developmental, and inclusive economic growth initiatives.
President Asif Ali Zardari will emphasize the protection of the country’s vulnerable segments and underscore the role of the Benazir Income Support Programme in this regard. Measures will also be presented for the launch of the Doha Alliance, Social Protection and Jobs Compact.
The purpose of the Qatar visit is to highlight the country’s social and developmental growth at the global level, while the President will also discuss the importance of financial resource mobilization, SDG stimulus, and global initiatives.
