Pakistan Railways has rolled out a revised winter schedule for train services nationwide, effective today, October 16. The updated timetable features slight changes in departure times for several trains, along with adjustments in stops and the return of previously suspended services.
Key highlights of the new schedule include:
- Timing Adjustments: Departure times for 16 trains have been modified.
- Stop Revisions: Three trains will no longer stop at certain stations.
- Reinstated Services: Four suspended trains are now back in operation and included in the schedule.
Notable Train Time Changes (Winter 2025)

- Allama Iqbal Express will now depart from Sialkot at 7:30 AM, shifted from its earlier time of 7:00 AM.
- Narowal Passenger is rescheduled to leave at 7:25 AM, instead of 7:00 AM.
- Faiz Ahmed Faiz Passenger will depart from Narowal at 5:00 AM, 30 minutes earlier than before.
- Awam Express will leave Karachi at 8:00 AM, pushed forward from 7:30 AM.
- Shalimar Express will now depart Lahore at 7:10 AM, 20 minutes earlier than its previous time.
Regularization of Temporary Stops
Nine trains that were previously granted temporary halts at specific stations will now stop there regularly. These include:
- Rehman Baba Express
- Karachi Express
- Shalimar Express
- Jaffar Express
- Pak Business Express
- Pakpattan Express
- Tezgam
- Millat Express
