Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and American singer Katy Perry seemingly confirmed their romantic involvement after they were recently spotted making out on the singer’s luxurious yacht.
Trudeau and Perry, who are reportedly dating, were photographed kissing and cuddling aboard Perry’s yacht off the California coast, according to images published by the Mail on Sunday.
Photos show Perry, dressed in a black swimsuit, embracing a shirtless Justin Trudeau, who was wearing jeans and sunglasses, aboard the yacht Caravelle. According to the Mail on Sunday, the pictures were taken by a tourist on a passing boat.
“She pulled up next to a small public whale-watching boat, and then they started making out,” the tourist told the Mail on Sunday. “I didn’t realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on his arm, then I immediately knew it was Justin Trudeau.”
Rumors about Perry and Trudeau have been circulating for months. The pair was first spotted together in July, dining at Montreal’s Le Violon restaurant—a sighting that sparked dating rumors, initially reported by TMZ.
Trudeau separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. Perry also ended her relationship with actor Orlando Bloom around the same time.
Trudeau was later seen attending Perry’s sold-out Lifetimes tour in Canada. However, by August, reports suggested the rumored romance may have cooled off.
