Chief of Pakistan Army, Field Marshal General Asim Munir, visited the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and encouraged the soldiers. During this time, Pakistani forces attacked several Afghan posts, taking control of 19 outposts and targeting terrorist hideouts, inflicting heavy casualties on Afghan forces.
Sources said the operation was carried out at night simultaneously across multiple border points, with the aim of dismantling the organized network of terrorists and preventing infiltration attempts into Pakistani territory.
During his visit, Field Marshal General Asim Munir stated that Pakistan will make no compromise in defending its soil and that every act of aggression will be met with a firm and effective response. He said the security forces are fully prepared to defend the borders under all circumstances and that the enemy will have to bear the consequences of any hostile action.
This successful operation is being seen as proof of the Pakistani Army’s professional capability and defensive preparedness, sending a strong message across the region that terrorism or border violations will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
