In a tragic incident in the Havellian area of Abbottabad, a suspect opened fire and killed four people, including three women.
According to details, local police reported that the accused, identified as Idrees, fatally shot his brother, sister-in-law, and two nieces. After committing the murders, the suspect managed to flee the scene.
Police officials said that the bodies of the deceased have been shifted to a local hospital for legal formalities.
They added that the motive behind Idrees’s act of killing his close family members is not yet known. However, an investigation has been launched, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect.
Earlier in August, seven people were shot dead over a personal enmity in the Raigi Sheno Khel area in Kohat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
It said that they had gone for the picnic to Tanda dam and upon returning from it, they came under attack from two sides, resulting in the deaths of six people on the spot.
