In the review, Indian media says that from the very beginning of the film, Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) enters a palace in Japan and moves towards his target while fighting enemies, but the film audience did not find anything new in it and their minds wandered elsewhere.
Interestingly, Indian media believes that the filmmakers did not think of even a single scene or sequence in War 2 that did not remind viewers of things they had already seen before. Calling many elements of the film similar to War 1, the pairing of Junior NTR and Hrithik Roshan is being declared a flop.
