A heartbreaking incident has occurred in the area of Hipo Garha, Sialkot district, Punjab, where a minor girl was allegedly raped by her own father. The police have registered an FIR against the accused based on the victim’s family’s complaint and initiated an investigation.
According to the FIR, Zainab, a resident of Hipo Garha, told the police that on July 7, 2025, at 2 PM, she returned home from the factory with her mother, Safia Bibi.
Upon arriving home, they saw her minor daughter, Iman Fatima, being sexually assaulted by her father, Mustafa Kamal. Zainab stated that the accused had removed their daughter’s clothes and was forcibly raping her.
When Zainab and her mother entered the room upon hearing screams, the accused fled immediately, leaving the girl naked. Zainab said that the accused not only committed a heinous crime against her daughter but also traumatized the entire family, causing severe mental anguish.
She demanded immediate action and the arrest of the accused. Considering the severity of the incident, the local police have registered an FIR and are conducting raids to apprehend the suspect. According to sources, a case has been registered against the accused under Section 376 (rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The victimized girl has been shifted to a local hospital for medical examination and necessary psychological support. Residents of the area have expressed deep sorrow and anger over the incident.
