The body of well-known actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found to be more than six months old, and further shocking revelations have come to light in the case. Showbiz personalities have expressed deep sorrow over her passing in a state of destitution.
According to details, the badly decomposed body of actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was discovered in an apartment in Karachi’s Defence area, where she had been living alone on rent for the past seven years. She had not paid rent since 2024.
The landlord had filed a case against Humaira Asghar Ali. Based on the investigation so far, SSP South Mahzoor Ali stated that the body appears to be more than six months old.
The SSP added that while the final facts will be revealed in the medical report, the food items found in the apartment had expiry dates from 2024.
He further disclosed that the last messages on her phone, dated September 2024, were from an online taxi driver. Her last contact with the landlord was also in 2024. The electricity in her home had been disconnected for quite some time.
It is worth noting that Humaira Asghar Ali’s family had previously refused to claim her body. According to SSP South, her family had not been in contact with her for the past one and a half to two years. The body has been placed in a morgue, and police stated that if no positive response is received from the family, burial will be carried out.
