Actress Sydney Sweeney, who rose to fame for her role as Cassie in HBO’s critically acclaimed drama series Euphoria, has described the upcoming Season 3 as a wild and surprising experience.
In a recent interview, Sydney Sweeney expressed her excitement about reprising her role as Cassie in Season 3 of Euphoria and shared that she is thrilled to be working with the full cast once again.
The actress said, “I’m so happy to be back. It feels like I’ve returned to my real family.”
She further added, “We’ve been doing this since I was 20 years old. Many of the crew members are still the same ones from Seasons 1 and 2. It’s truly a beautiful reunion.”
Talking about the new storyline for her character, Sydney hinted, “All I can say is that it’s going to be a wild ride. I was really surprised by the turns Cassie’s life takes, but I’m incredibly excited for the whole show.”
Notably, Euphoria, created by Sam Levinson and starring Hollywood’s famous actress Zendaya, was officially renewed for Season 3 shortly after the conclusion of Season 2 in February 2022, with filming scheduled to begin in December.
However, production was delayed due to disputes with labor unions in Hollywood and the sudden deaths of cast member Angus Cloud and executive producer Kevin Turen.
Eventually, filming for Season 3 began this January, and the new season is expected to air sometime next year.
