ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Practice and Procedure case will be heard today under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
According to the details, the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure case hearing and court proceedings will be telecast live on all media channels. A full court bench of the Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice will hear the case.
For the first time in the history of the country, the hearing of the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure case was broadcast live from the Supreme Court. The public’s confidence in the Supreme Court and the judiciary is being restored by broadcasting the previous hearing.

In response to questions submitted on the order of the Supreme Court, the government has maintained that the 8-member bench suspended the law, which was an unconstitutional move. The former Chief Justice made the decision before giving the suspension.
Earlier, the larger bench of the Supreme Court heard 5 cases, while the current full court bench heard 1 practice and procedure case. On the occasion of the first hearing on April 13, the Supreme Court issued an injunction.
It should be noted that under the Practice and Procedure Act, the authority to issue notices and constitute a bench was given to a committee of 3 senior judges of the Supreme Court.
