LAHORE: NAB has once again summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on the illegal transfer of 190 million pounds from the UK in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case.
The PTI chairman has been directed by NAB to appear before the Combined Investigation Team at the bureau office on May 23. The NAB team summoned Imran Khan on May 18, but he was absent. The investigation team will investigate including Imran Khan.
Imran Khan has been asked to answer 20 questions related to the illegal transfer of 190 million pounds. NAB says that Imran Khan got 458 kanals of land and Rs 28 crore by returning 190 million pounds to the accused of the state of Pakistan.
Imran Khan did not appear in the call-up notice of March 2 and did not give any answer. Imran Khan is deliberately evading the NAB inquiry. Records of freezing orders have also been sought.
NAB asked for the records of all the donations received from Imran Khan to Al-Qadir University and those who donated to Al-Qadir Trust.
The records of the trust deed between Al-Qadir Trust, and the company of the accused have also been requested from Punjab Higher Education of Al-Qadir University.

Imran Khan received the second notice of NAB summoned in the Al-Qadir Trust case, Khan received the NAB notice through his lawyer Ali Ijaz Butar.
The notice said that the chairman PTI will appear before NAB to join the investigation on May 23 morning. The joint investigation team will investigate Imran Khan.
