ISLAMABAD: United States Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman has thanked US diplomats for their excellent service to Pak-US relations.
In her message on Twitter, the US Deputy Secretary of State, while referring to her visit to the US Embassy in Islamabad, wrote that she is delighted to meet with the US diplomats.

In her message, Wendy Sherman said that during her visit to Pakistan last week, she also visited the US Embassy in Islamabad. The US Embassy is playing a key role in the relationship between Pakistan and the United States.
US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman said that she appreciates the tireless work of US diplomats in providing support to the Pak-US partnership as you have done all this for Pakistan on behalf of the American people.
Earlier, US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman visited Pakistan to discuss the situation in the region and Afghanistan. Six days ago today, US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman arrived in Pakistan for meetings with Pakistan’s top military and political leadership, including Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
The Foreign Office said that Pakistan wants bilateral trade and economic relations with the United States on an equal footing. On other hand, the foreign minister also thanked the US deputy secretary of state for the country’s donation of Covid-19 vaccines to Pakistan.
