ISLAMABAD: National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser has banned seven members of the National Assembly from entering the House, two of whom have apologized.
According to details, the banned members include Ali Nawaz Awan, Abdul Majeed Khan, Fahim Khan, Sheikh Rohail Asghar, Ali Gohar Khan, Chaudhry Hamid Hameed and Syed Agha Rafiullah from entering the National Assembly until further notice.
In this regard, the National Assembly Secretariat issued orders to the concerned members and Assembly Security yesterday. National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser also issued a statement regarding the ban.
In a message on Twitter, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said that the attitude of every member who disrupted the speech of opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif was unparliamentary and inappropriate.

On the other hand, Special Assistants Ali Nawaz Awan and Ali Gohar have accepted responsibility for the commotion in the National Assembly and apologized. Ali Nawaz, the special assistant to the prime minister, said, he cannot explain his words.
Criticizing the attitude of the opposition in the National Assembly, Special Assistant Ali Nawaz said that the Prime Minister and Federal Ministers were not allowed to speak in the House. Ali Gohar said that the process of abuse was started by Rohail Asghar.
The decision comes after the National Assembly turned into a battleground on Tuesday as the opposition and treasury members scuffled with each other and threw budget documents and books when the latter continued their noisy protest to disrupt Shehbaz’s budget speech for a second consecutive day.
Qaiser suspended the proceedings of the House three times when the treasury members, led by some of the senior ministers who had come directly to the House after attending the weekly cabinet meeting, refused to pay heed to his directives to stay calm and kept on sloganeering, whistling and desk-thumping.
