KARACHI: A further 46 deaths and 1,119 new cases have been reported across the country due to the global coronavirus.
The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Pakistan is 21,874 and the number of positive cases is 945,184. The number of active cases is 36,215 and 887,095 people have recovered from Corona.
The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 10,586 people lost their lives while 5,292 in Sindh, 4,247 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 773 in Islamabad, 108 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 297 in Balochistan, and 571 in Azad Kashmir.

Coronavirus vaccination is underway in Pakistan and people over the age of 19 are being vaccinated. Adult vaccination centers have been set up across the country and the entire vaccination process is being controlled by digital mechanisms.
At least 189 vaccination centers have been set up in Punjab and 14 in Sindh, while 280 vaccination centers have been set up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 44 in Balochistan, and 14 in Islamabad. Vaccination is being carried out through 25 centers in Azad Kashmir and 16 centers in Gilgit-Baltistan.
