ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Mirza Shahzad Akbar has said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) flop show in Lahore has exposed the defeated politics of Nawaz Sharif.
In a tweet on Sunday, Akbar said, “It is quite evident that people of Punjab and Lahore have rejected Nawaz Sharif”. He further said people of Lahore have rejected the politics of Modi’s friend.
Mirza Shahzad Akbar said PML-N is nothing more than a social media spam brigade of hired guns. Akbar’s remarks came days after the PML- founder Nawaz Sharif criticized the PTI-led government and state institutions, alleging them of victimizing the PAML-N.
He said the present government failed in all sectors and ensure the provision of basic facilities to the people. The PML-N supremo said there are joblessness and inflation in the country which has badly affected the people.
The PML-N leader pointed out that not just the economy, but also the law and order situation of the country has deteriorated. He said the people have become fed up with the present rulers and they want to change in the country.
On Saturday, the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has slammed the PTI-led federal government for its ‘revenge policy’ against the Opposition amid efforts by parties to oust the PTI from power.
PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah said while addressing a rally at Lahore’s Mall Road held in solidarity with Shehbaz Sharif, who was arrested earlier this week.
Rana Sanaullah further said that the government, instead of providing shelter to the people, has made them homeless. “The huge attendance by people in the demonstration was evidence that Lahore had woken up,” he added.
“Shehbaz Sharif served Punjab with honesty for 10 years. The government had earlier filed two cases against him, but no headway was made,” he said, adding, “Even if they investigate Shehbaz for 10 years, they won’t find anything on him.”
On the occasion, former railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif wants the rule of democracy and for the Constitution and law to be upheld in the country.
