KARACHI: Karachi police in a successful operation have arrested a fugitive female killer from the Memon Goth area of the city.
According to the details, accused Shama Gul had killed a man named Sohail in 2018 and escaped. On a tip-off, Memon Goth police conducted a targeted raid and arrested the accused.
According to Khalid Abbasi, SHO of Memon Goth police station, Shama Gul was on the verge of fleeing from Karachi to another city however police arrest her.
Abbasi said accused Shama Gul was present at the bus stop in front of Athari Hospital in Memon Goth area when she was arrested on a tip-off. Police took action against the accused under case number 76/2018, he added.
The police official further said that police have started an investigation into the murder of Sohail. The motives for the killings will be revealed soon, he said.
