ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Jay Parkash Ukrani has tested positive for coronavirus.
In a message, MNA Jay Parkash has said that according to the report, he had been tested positive for coronavirus and was advised by the doctor to remain in quarantine at home for at least 15 days.
He said though he was feeling well and had no health issue, however, adopting precautionary measures were a prerequisite in this situation.
According to details, MNA Jay Parkash had met Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi last night.
Earlier on June 3, two members of the provincial assembly (MPAs), one from Punjab and the other from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, passed away from COVID-19.
In KP, ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) Mian Jamshedud Din Kakakhel died at Islamabad’s Kalsoom Hospital. He was on a ventilator after having tested positive for the novel coronavirus last week.
Later in the day, PML-N MPA from Wazirabad, Punjab, Shaukat Manzoor Cheema also passed away from the virus.
