PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker, Abdul Salam Afridi, from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, was discharged from hospital after testing negative for COVID-19.
Afridi, who belongs to Nayabut Manga area where the first death of coronavirus was reported. In a video message posted on a social media website Twitter, he thanked his well-wishers for praying for his health and recovery.
He vowed to serve the public and continue fulfilling his responsibilities effectively in the future.

According to KP Health and Finance Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra, the health authorities have reported a total 405 COVID-19 cases in the province. The death toll related to coronavirus has reached 16, while at least 17 patients have fully recovered, Jhagra added.
