KARACHI: The confirmed cases of coronavirus in Pakistan have surged past 1,550 today (Sunday) as new cases were reported in several areas across the country.
According to the provided details by provincial health departments, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 1575. Meanwhile, four new deaths were reported in the country.
Gilgit Baltistan today reported another death taking the total number of deaths in the region to two, while, another 12 new cases had been confirmed across the region.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department reported that four new cases have emerged in the province, taking the total to 192. Of the new cases, two are from Peshawar and one each from Lower Dir and Abbottabad.
Sindh’s Health Department reported 21 new cases and reported 2 new deaths. However, Punjab reported 12 new cases on Sunday taking the provincial tally to 570.
Four new cases of coronavirus were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday taking the tally to six in the region.
