President Dr. Arif Alvi has appealed to people of Pakistan, including politicians, to set aside their differences and fight coronavirus.
President Alvi took to Twitter and said, “We must rise to meet challenges of coronavirus in Pakistan,” adding, “Forget all differences and start helping people.”
He further said, “In this war, everything else is secondary because this has to be fought by every family in every home,” adding, “Ensure your personal safety and then help others.”

In another Tweet, he said that he has made hundreds of calls and urged all the politicians to set aside their differences and Ulema to use their vast human resources and goodwill to spread message of care.
The President also said that he also made calls to media houses to give more time and to all Chief Ministers and Governors to ensure administration efficiency.”
Coronavirus has claimed lives of 2 people in Pakistan and another 335 people have been affected. Sindh has remained the most affected province of the country.
