KARACHI: Former member of Sindh Assembly and Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM-P) Kamran Akhtar has said that the federal government should provide support to the coronavirus patients.
While talking to the MM news, Kamran Akhtar, also a former Nazim Baldia Town said that the Sindh government has failed to prevent the black marketing of anti-coronavirus protection equipment neither have any appropriate steps been taken.
Kamran Akhtar further said that the security measures were being provided but that the black marketing and price hikes of essential goods could not be stopped at the state level.
Akhtar added that along with the children, teachers and staff should also be checked and people who are working in the factories should be screened too. He said the closure of schools will destroy the education system in the province.
He demanded that the government should pay three months school fees either as subsidy on other things, or take steps to end the fees along with private school’s management.
