KARACHI: Engro Corporation has shut down its offices at The Harbour Front Building for the next three days after an employee was diagnosed with coronavirus.
In this regard, the corporation issued a statement today (Tuesday) which stated that an employee of the Engro Corporation on 8th floor of the building has tested positive for the COVID-19.
The statement further stated that the said employee was last in office for only a few hours on Friday, March 6.
The corporation said that it has decided to close its offices for the next three days only as a precautionary measure.
Engro has also directed its employees to work from home during office closure and stated that their return will be screened for novel infection.
Earlier today, Sindh Health department has confirmed two new coronavirus cases in Sindh, bringing the tally to 18.
