KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has assured that blood of the slain journalist Aziz Memon would not go in vain.
Talking to journalists in Karachi today (Saturday), CM Murad said that the provincial government was trying its best to provide justice in Aziz Memon case.
CM Murad also stated that the names in JIT have been included in recommendations of heirs of Aziz Memon, and there was no involvement from Sindh government.
Answering to a question, CM Murad urged the newsmen to wait till the investigation report and vowed to provide justice into matter.
He further said that his party always supported and respected journalists and the media, adding, “PPP also believes in freedom of expression.”
It is worth mentioning here that Journalist Aziz Memon was strangulated to death in Sindh’s district of Naushero Feroze, last month.
