ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that this year Federal government will spend Rs 35 billion on various development projects in Karachi.
Speaking to journalists, Asad Umar has said that the provincial government did nothing for Karachi. He vowed to allocate more funds for Karachi in the next budget.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was committed to uplift the living standards of the people of Karachi.
Commenting on Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), he said that MQM was a key government ally in Sindh.
Asad Umar said that the federal government was working on addressing the issues with its allied parties.
