Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to formulate a roadmap for the development of the information technology sector in Pakistan within a week.
PM Imran was chairing a meeting regarding the promotion of information technology in Islamabad today (Friday).
The key areas also include the establishment of special technology zones and the issuance of 5G Spectrum.
PM Imran at the occasion said that promotion of information technology is a priority of the government, adding that promotion of information technology will also generate jobs.
He said that Pakistani youths have potential regarding IT and the government is committed to facilitating them.
