SIALKOT: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that all the disgruntled MPAs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) expressed their confidence in leadership of Chief Minister of Punjab, Usmana Buzdar.
Addressing a press conference in Sialkot today (Sunday), Firdous Awan said that the government’s coalition parties are standing shoulder-to-shoulder, adding that whether it was PML-Q or other political parties, all were determined to put Pakistan on the road to progress.
She said that all the MPAs have voiced their confidence in CM Buzdar’s leadership which is a bad news for trend-setters and agenda-setters in media and in the opposition, adding that the people residing in a foreign country have failed once again over conspiring against the government.
Commenting on the opposition, she said that the opposition should fulfill their role in parliament and should help the government in legislating.
‘Kashmir Issue’
Referring to Kashmir Issue, the Special Assistant said that Muslims and other minorities were being targeted in India, whereas, helpless people in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) were becoming victims of state terrorism.
She said, “India’s fascist government influenced by Nazism has been exposed in front of the world,” adding that the Indian government would have to adopt a clear stance for providing legal rights of Kashmiris.
Firdous Awan assured that Pakistan is standing side-by-side with Kashmiris on Kashmir Solidarity Day, adding that the day is near when each Indian citizen would show dissociation with Indian government’s policies.
