ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan reaffirmed on Monday that the federal government’s policy of cooperating with all its coalition partners during a Media Strategy Committee session.
During the meeting, the country’s political and economic situation was examined, government allies concerns in the ruling coalition were discussed in detail, while the interaction between a government delegation and Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) members were also discussed.

Specific attention was given to the demands and list of reservations made by MQM-P. Babar Awan, Moeed Yousaf, Murad Saeed, Faisal Javed, Shahbaz Gill attended the meeting.
PM Imran Khan proclaimed MQM-P to be an important ally and said that their issues had to be discussed and withdrawn, he affirmed the government’s policy of working with all political allies.

He also expressed a desire to see MQM-P leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui back in the cabinet who had announced to resign from his ministry on Sunday. He said that the release of funds, development work and the creation of educational institutions will be implemented in the near future.
