ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry congratulated newly elected Justice Gulzar Ahmed on taking oath as 27th Chief Justice of Pakistan.
In a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry congratulated Justice Gulzar Ahmed and wrote, “Justice Gulzar Ahmed took the oath at that time when there is bitterness in the environment.”
Chaudhry hoped that the era of Justice Gulzar Ahmed would be a span of forging unity among the nation and state institutions.

The federal minister added that the interpretation of the law of land would be in consonance with the country’s future and prayed for the new CJP.
His tweet came after Justice Gulzar Ahmed took oath as the new CJP at the presidency house today. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, the Supreme Court and lawyers and National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.
