RAWALPINDI: Ten civilians including women and children were wounded in another ceasefire violation by India as Indian troops’ resorted to unprovoked firing along Line of Control (LoC) deliberately targeting civilian population.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan troops ‘responded effectively’ to Indian ceasefire violation. As a result, one Indian soldier was killed and another three sustained injuries.
The ISPR reported that Indian is constantly violating the ceasefire aggrement in last 24 hours using mortars and heavy weapons in Jandrot and Nikial sector.
The civilian population of Jabbar, Sandhara, Sumbal Gali and Dabsi villages of Koti district were targeted.
The military wing stated that two children and as many women were wounded and were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
