KARACHI: The illegal appointment of the Karachi Development Authority’s (KDA) officer, Raza Qaim Khani, has been challenged in the Sindh High Court (SHC).
The petitioner, Imran Shehzad, submitted that the KDA officer Raza Qaim Khani had been illegally appointed on an important post of the development authority.
The Sindh High Court, acting on the petition, issued notices to Chief Secretary Sindh, Secretary Local Government, Director-General KDA, Secretary KDA, Director Admin KMC and Raza Qaim Khani.
In the petition, Imran Shehzad stated that the illegal appointment was severely damaging the reputation of the institution and depriving the rights of the merit officers.
Earlier, it was revealed that the higher management had illegally appointed two officials at major posts of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA).

According to details, the management had appointed suspicious officers at major posts, whose employment record is not available with both Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Karachi Development Authority (KDA).
