ISLAMABAD: Newly appointed Minister for Information and Broadcasting Syed Shibli Faraz has vowed to improve the country’s image in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Syed Shibli Faraz took to Twitter today (Tuesday) and further vowed to promote the government policies and to develop Information Ministry on modern lines with full spirit and dedication.
وزیراعظم کی بصیرت کی روشنی میں ملک کے تشخص کی بہتری ، حکومتی پالیسیوں کی ترویج واشاعت اور وزارت ِ اطلاعات کو جدید خطوط پر استوار کرنے کے لئے پورے جذبے، لگن اور توجہ سے محنت کریں گے۔ وزارت کے روایتی کردار میں پیشہ وارانہ جدت کے علاوہ اسے مستند بنائیں گے۔

The Newly appointed minister also said that professional innovation would be introduced in the traditional role of the ministry, besides making it more credible.
In another Tweet, he prayed to Allah to assist and guide him so that he could fulfill the expectations and professional responsibilities.
اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا ہے کہ میری مدد اور راہنمائی فرمائے، میں اپنے فرائض ہائے منصبی کے تقاضوں کے ساتھ ساتھ آپ سب کی توقعات پر پورا اترسکوں۔
وزیر اعظم جناب عمران خان کا شکریہ ادا کرتا ہوں جنہوں نے مجھ پر اعتماد کا اظہار کیا اور یہ اہم ذمہ داری سونپی۔

The information minister also said that his preference is to play the role of a bridge between the government and the media. He thanked PM Imran for entrusting him for this important responsibility.
He praised all opposition leaders, analysts, columnists, anchors and media friends for congratulating and sending prayers to him on assuming the portfolio of Ministry of Information.
Earlier today, Information Minister Shibli Faraz and Special Assistant on Information Asim Saleem Bajwa called on PM Imran Khan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to the new assignment of Shibli Faraz and Asim Saleem Bajwa had been discussed.
