KARACHI: The confirmed cases of coronavirus in Pakistan has risen to 1,198 today (Thursday) as new confirmed cases emerge in various areas of the country.
According to the provided details by the provincials’ health departments, 36 new coronavirus cases were reported in different regions across the country.
Sindh and Punjab are the most affected province from coronavirus in the country. Punjab has witnessed a huge rise in number of the coronavirus cases in last few days.
Punjab Health Minister has confirmed the rise in total cases of the province to 405. So far, three deaths have been reported in Punjab.
At the same time, Information adviser of Gilgit Baltistan Shams Mir informed that seven new cases have emerged in the region and all the cases hail from Skardu. With the increase, the region tally has hit 91 cases.
Simultaneously, Sindh reported four new cases in the province taking the provincial tally to 421. So far, 153 cases have been reported in Karachi in which 102 are of local transmission.
