ISLAMABAD: Focal person for Panah Gah (shelter homes) Naseem ur Rehman called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today (Thursday).
According to details, the meeting discussed the plight and special measures for homeless and poor in light of the outbreak of coronavirus.
On the occasion, PM Imran said that protection of underprivileged segments was responsibility and topmost priority of the government.
PM Imran further said that the government is focused on the destitute people during difficult times, adding that the government would increase its focus on helping these people.
The Prime Minister directed the focal person to give full attention to provision of food and health facilities to people staying in shelter homes.
The premier also said that with the increased participation of philanthropists, the management and working of shelter homes will improve and their numbers will increase.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan performed the groundbreaking of the construction of 252-bed isolation hospital and infectious diseases center in Islamabad.
