KARACHI: Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) has constituted a three-member focal committee new Coronavirus (COVID-19) to correlation and coordinate with all the concern stakeholders throughout Sindh province.
The three-members SHCC focal committee consists of Chairperson Dr Syed Ahemd Raza Kazmi, Dr Zubair Soomro (Coordinator) and Dr Faiza Bhutto (technical expert).
The committee members will be responsible for correlating and coordinating between all the concern stakeholders and healthcare institutions across the Sindh province.
SHCC focal committee is also responsible for addressing issues relating to coronavirus (COVID-19) and they also make sure implementation of international, nationally recognized principles for improving the standard of care at the respective hospital in the province.
Chairperson of the committee Dr Syed Ahemd Raza Kazmi said situation poses a serious public health threat, however, the risk to Karachi’s residents remains low and our level of attentiveness is high.
The concern authorities have been working on this effort for the past two weeks, he added officials held daily meetings in this regard.
