The NOTAM to suspend flight operations at Islamabad International Airport for two hours on Monday has been cancelled.
According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Aviation Authority (PAA), operations at Islamabad will remain normal on March 16, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
The PAA spokesperson added that the six sectors of the Lahore Flight Information Region will not be closed on March 16, and the Lahore FIR region will remain available for commercial flights.
During this period, landings and take-offs at Islamabad Airport will continue as usual.
On Saturday, the PAA announced the temporary closure of flight operations at Islamabad International on March 16.
In a statement, the authority said flight operations at the airport will remain suspended from 08:30 AM to 10:30 AM (Pakistan Standard Time). Passengers have been advised to check with their respective airlines for updates regarding their flights.
